10 Ways To Raise Your Vibration
- Positive Thinking – Your thoughts create your reality and become the blueprint for your life. Worry, stress, pain, and suffering are extremely low vibrations creating a negative headspace, a tense mind, and body. Stop focusing on what is going wrong. Think of five things in your life that you are grateful for; people, places, friends, memories, opportunities, and learning experiences. You are never stuck. Switch your perception.
- Eat high vibrational foods – You are what you eat. Your bones, skin, blood, hair, and organs are built based off of what you put into your body.
- Meats have a vibration of 3 – 5 MHz (extremely low).
- Raw almonds have a vibration of 50 MHZ (middle of the road)
- Natural greens, fresh juices and raw fruits/vegetables have a vibration of 70 MHz (extremely high)
- Eat Organic – Eating organic is not just about pesticides, chemicals and shopping at Whole Foods. Organic fruits and vegetables have a higher frequency and vibration than traditionally grown produce.
- Essential Oils – Are not just a pyramid scheme for your friends to make money. They help raise the vibration of the space and those that live/work within it. Good smells lift your mood. Essential oils are a great way to increase your vibration without having to do much work.
- Rose 320 MHz
- Frankincense 181 MHZ
- Lavender 118 MHz
- Juniper 98 MHz
- Peppermint 78 MHz
- Basil 52 MHz
- People – Have you ever been in a social situation where you either left feeling exhausted or energized? The people you surround yourself with affect your mood and vibration. Higher vibration people will lift you up. Lower vibration people will bring you down. Try only hanging with people that lift your spirits up for a week and see if you can tell a difference. Energy is currency. Spend it wisely.
- Drink Clean Water – Water helps detox, hydrate and circulate energy. Water increase mental clarity and gives you physical energy. Not all water is the same. Most water has loads of added chemicals, containments, and in the case of Dasani, salt to further dehydrate you. I’ll list a few of my favorites water brands below.
- Mountain Valley
- Fiji
- Essentia
- Smart Water
- Icelandic
- If you don’t want to spend money on bottled water. Invest in a Brita or some type of filtration system. Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, Sprouts have easy attachments that can be installed in minutes.
- Meditation – Is not just something people in yoga or California do. It has a wide range of benefits from clearing the mind, lowering stress, and balance/grounding your energy. I love the app headspace. Feel free to add me @coltongelnar.
- Movement – Moving the body helps release and move any stagnant energy that is stuck. Go for a walk, or a run. Recently I have implemented walking meetings. This helps my mind and body move at the same pace.
- Deep Breathing – Take your breathing off of autopilot. Deep Breathing gives your body more oxygen which in turn gives your more energy. Sit in your car, at your desk, or in bed. Focus on your breath. Breathe in for four, hold for four, breath out for for, and then hold for four. This is called box breathing. Try it roughly 6-7 times through.
- Sleep – The body needs between 8-10 hours of sleep a night. This is the time where the body repairs itself and files away all the important (and unimportant) interactions and aspects of the day. Not getting enough sleep is like trying to get a days worth of work with 5% on your battery. You are constantly rushing around, stressing, and trying to conserve energy.
